Dear 99design contest holders:
As much as we appreciate the opportunity and artistic challenge, many of you have little respect for the amount of work we designers put in to even be considered as a winner. The return on our investment is very small. It is so rude to expect dozens of people to create and revise multiple designs for you each, just so you can pick only 1 at the end. I think the purpose of these contests should be more fair to the designers and made more clear: it is to find a great design or designer. If you want more designs, you should then hire the winner for a 1-1 project which by the way we get more $ for than contests since 99designs keeps alot of the prize amount. Please do not take advantage of our time. I refuse to spend hours revising work for which I end up losing. You need to choose 1 person and work with them. You should be able to spot what you are looking for at first submission. I will not create 4-6 designs for you to even consider me to be a finalist. That is simply ridiculous. 1 design should be enough for you to like my work and hire me or decide to pass.
I've had contest holders tell me I was their favorite style wise but they wanted more designs. So i agreed to create 3 more, only to see an hour later they ended the contest early and declared a different winner. Why is this even allowed?
